Otto's Cheese + Wine Masterclass
Whether you consider yourself a true ‘curd nerd’, or you can’t tell your Brie from your Camembert, Otto’s Cheese and Wine Masterclass will give you a chance to explore a world of complex flavours, all while learning the basics when it comes to understanding and really appreciating fine cheese.
Let Otto’s Continental Delicatessen Head Chef Clint Humphreys take you on a cheese appreciation journey, where you will enjoy an inspiring selection of cheese and wine, and an exclusive peek inside our secret Cheese Room.
Guest speaker Peter Gross (cheese expert and General Manager of Black Pearl Epicure) will take you on a virtual tasting tour of the world, while you learn about cheese and wine:
- Why do we pair cheese with wine?
- How is cheese made?
- What is the difference between Camembert and Brie?
Joining him will be wine expert Brett Wightman (Ara Wines), who will assist in pairing each cheese with a premium quality drop, and talk you through the tasting notes, while teaching you everything you always wanted to know about wine but were too afraid to ask.
Tickets are $90pp and include cheese and wine on arrival, followed by a 5 course cheese and wine tasting Masterclass and Q&A session.
